Project: Strip-Out, Design and Fit-Out and delivery of main ballroom, entrance, vinyl bar and VIP bar.

The project was unique in that the design evolved continuously as original features of the building were uncovered. The design and fit-out teams worked closely side by side to carefully restore these elements, reinstating the original character and atmosphere of the Marlborough Ballroom as it was when it first opened.

Bespoke bar stages, furniture, and the entranceway were delivered to meet a tight programme in line with the client’s requirements. The project successfully restored one of Shawlands’ key cultural hubs, returning this historic venue to its original roots.
